More of Asian Style...

I enjoy this Asian style a lot. I think is extremely peaceful and I would definitely have at least one room like this in my house, when I get a place of my own. I feel so relaxed and stress free. This style is mostly for those out there that stress out a lot, people like me =p. Also if you feel nervous you could relax and forget about all your problems for a while and deal with them later. I really hope you guys like this and that my ideas work for you and they help you feel relaxed once you're done with your new room.

So, a few days ago I posted in how you can get an Asian style. I want to show you some pictures of some Asian designs, and how some rooms turn out! I hope you enjoy them and that they inspire you!

Relax, good luck...

Ok this week I’m doing an Asian design. It was requested and I’m excited to do it! I’ve been doing some research on it and I love this style. I’m so excited to show you guys some tips on how to get this design in your own home. Asian design is a showcase of Eastern societies. One of the things that really make it feel like an Asian design is having a bamboo wall. They are modern and exotic for the Asian style. Asian fabrics can be used as curtains or wall hangings. This creates an Asian culture feel in the room.
Using dramatic colors in the rooms is one of the main this in an Asian look. They use the color red a lot because it represents and brings them good luck. Also they furniture is normally black and shiny. You should use wood as well. Using a lot of plants also makes it Asian. They use greens to provide texture and artistic expressions. Also you should try searching for furniture that has multiply purposes. Using a rug or a mat is also something you should get. For the windows go simple. In some cases there might be some colorful patterns going on but in most cases they are just plain and simple. Get a shoji screen, it provides a window cover as a room divider. One last touch for your Asian style would be a water fountain. They bring are peaceful and relaxing feeling. They make the room feel as if you were in a spa. Beach style!

Hey guys this week I’m going to blog about how to get a beach style look to your room. Let’s start off with the wall colors. You would want to get a blue for the water, a yellow to feel the sunshine and maybe like a tan/cream type of color for the shells and sand. This will set the mood for a beach like feeling. Now for the accessories! You should put up some frames with beach pictures, also some sea shells and ocean prints. If you get beach chairs and maybe a surf board it could help you get the look you want! For the lighting you should get clear lamps that are maybe a cream color, blue or light yellow. If not some that have sea shells or sand feel to them. You can also get rugs and pillows. For the rugs you would want something blue or cream to match the room and get the water or sand feeling. With the pillows maybe you could get yellow to get the sunshine feeling to it. For curtains get plain colors, if your walls are blue get the curtains cream and if your walls are cream get them blue or some other colors you would like but still give the beach feeling to the room. For the little hoops that hold the curtains they could be sea shells or a beach ball something related to the theme you want in your room. Make sure you have a lot of plants maybe some fake fruits just to have more accessories around. I hope you enjoy this and again have fun!

Starting of by...

For my first blog about interior design I would like to discuss about the different types of designs out there. The different styles designers have. There is a vairity of styles and I would like to sahre some with you. There is from chic to country, clasic to moddern and so much more! You don’t have to chose a single design for your room. There are many people out there that combine designs with other designs. The good thing about interior desing is that you can express your self. My the art you make decorating your new room. You can hire people to help you out organize you ideas are make the room of your dreams come true and alive in your own home. Decorating a new is not supose to be a job. You should be relax and enjoy the processes of the whole experience. The hardest part of this experience should really be what design your picking and what wall colors. The rest should just create on its own. Just realex and enjoy the ride.
