This week I’m changing it up a little bit. I’m going to blog about gardens. But I’ll talk about a garden that will make you feel relax and make you feel at home every time your there. Your garden can become a stress free environment.
First you need to have it planned out on paper and how the space is going to be use as. After that, you need to pick what plants you want surrounding the area. Maybe the sitting area may have different plants from somewhere else in the garden. Look at magazines and pictures in the internet to get some ideas of what things you would want in your garden and go from there. Very important is picking the soil for you plants and the type of garden you want. If you want a relaxing garden get Asian plants and make sure to have shade somewhere. In that shade make sure to have relaxing colors like browns and creams. Not bright colors. Also get water fountains and little decorations around the shade area.
Now for where there will be no shade get plants that are light colors and make you feel relax. This can depend on the type of person you are. You have a variety of choices to pick from. Also try having an open space that can look relaxing and you can have a picnic or a nap without anything bothering you. But at the same time make sure that if you are expecting kids to be around, that the space is big enough for them to run around and have a great time.
