Ancient Egyptian Décor

This week I decided to blog about Egyptian design. This design is very bold and colorful. It has a lot of different designs and interesting pieces of arts. There is a variety of accessories in this design. To pull this look off you need to have some type of statues or paintings of Bastet cats. Cats were very important in their culture. They were considered sacred. Cats were like goddess for them. For the furniture you should go with a wooden chair and gold or cream color. Tables around the house should be weird shapes and curvy. There color should be brown with some gold and some red. A lot of art around the room should be a touch to completely the room. Mirrors around the house would make this look the room bigger and more interesting. Egyptian figurines are the biggest accessories to put around the house. It’s a nice touch. The walls should be Brown, red, cream and with gold accessories. Large furniture is something that is common in this style. It’s really out there and it’s ok to go all out. Don’t be afraid of color and to put weird accessories or furniture in the room, as long as the colors go with it. Make the room look tall and wide. This you can do it with mirrors, light colors in the ceiling and in walls.

  1. I love Egypt! I really wish someday I could travel there. I've always found it fascinating the whole pyramids and hieroglyphics theme. Each one tells a hidden story through it's art. Cinemark (Muvico 24) have that Egyptian style you're talking about. I've always thought it's been one of the most artistic designs ever created. The whole mystery through Egyptian objects I find it out of this world and clearly would create an amazing design that obviously helps advertise the location.
