Ever been to Japan?

If you’re a big fan of Japan and their styles I’ll give you some insights in how to get your house to have that feeling as if you where in Japan every day. It is a relaxing style and it will never let you down on those days that you want to relax the most. Let’s start off with the garden. Their gardens are very peaceful and full of live. To get the perfect Japanese garden you’ll need some water fountain that will help you relax or maybe a pond. Water relaxes you and it’s one of the main things you should have in your garden. It gives it that serene feeling you want when you get home from work.

Japanese style uses a lot of traditional ceramic made pots and things that are natural. For example wood, stone, rice straw. Also they use Buddhism and Zen related stuff. This is another way of getting that peaceful feeling you’re looking for to have inside your home. Rocks and gravel gardens make it more natural and earth related. Get plants around the house and also those sense smells. A wooden chair is something that can be made from earth so that is a good way to get your seating. Japanese style is very earth related and it also uses some eco friendly materials inside the house.
Something else you should make sure you have around the house is Japanese art work. This is something that is very important to them and it has meaning to them. Some things that you can get are wooden posts and beams, ceramic or copper roof shingles, bamboo, tatami, and delicate rice-paper shoji screens. This is their history and they are glad to have it around the house.
