More inside a Japanese style house

Japanese revolves around nature and they try to make their house as naturally as possible. Mostly everything is wooden and surrounded with plants and rocks. Don’t forget the water running around the house to get that waterfall seen. For the bathrooms and kitchen you should get old style technology. For example, you should get an old style stove and dishwasher. For the bathroom an old style sink and toilet, also a shower or bath. All this should be more on the old style side instead of modern. Japanese style is again very earthy and old fashioned.

For the dining room and living room you should get pillows to sit on the floor with. This creates a Zen feeling and it is also part of the Japanese culture. For the doors, sliding doors are the best. Also make sure not to forget art! Try to keep everything wooden and artistic.

  3. This style of design is my favorite! To me it sets such a relaxing mood. It also reminds me of feng shui. This style is so clean and peaceful, it is such a great environment to be around. When I buy a house I am looking forward to decorating it just like this!

  4. The "Japanese Style" provides a peaceful atmosphere. I really like it, especially the pillows to sit on the floor with for the dining room. In a Japanese restaurant, I was once told that it is tradition to take off your shoes before sitting down to eat dinner. It is a sign of respect. I agree that Japanese style is very earthy, old-fashioned, and quite unique!
